Dr. Horner awarded a Tenure Appointment at the level of Professor

Dr. Horner received a Tenure Appointment at the level of Professor at Houston Methodist Academic Institute. Tenure is awarded to faculty who have made significant contributions to biomedical research and education. Since arriving at Houston Methodist in 2015, Dr. Horner has served as the contact PI on 18 awards, including leading a multi-institutional collaboration that secured Houston Methodist’s first NIH-funded T32 grant, and he has published 114 articles.
